Blocking our view

We've been on an astronomy kick at our house, one afternoon when the moon was visible in daylight:

Ade: "Why can't we see into outer space?"

Me: "Well, right now it's day time but look, there's the moon. It's in outer space."

Ade: "Oh, we could see into outer space but the moon is in the way!"

Me: "Not exactly."

Ade: "Dad, do you have ten dollars?"

Me: "Nope."

Ade: "Do you have ten pieces of green money?"

Me: "No, I don't have ten pieces of green money either."
