So after that last zinger, he brought this while I was pushing him on the swing today.
Ade: "How long is tabby going to live?"
Me: "I don't know, maybe 15 years or more. Little dogs can live a while."
Ade: "Will she be really old, just like you?"

Young at heart.
Ade: "How long am I going to be alive?"
Dad: "Hopefully a long, long time. Long enough to see me become an old man."
Ade: "You already are old."
Ouch.

Donations
Ade: "We made a puzzle of a fire-hydrant at school today, and there was a donation."
Me: "The puzzle was donated?"
Ade: "No, there was a donation on the fire hydrant. You know, the fire men stay at the fire station and play with the donation, and play basketball all day."
Me: "You mean a dalmation?"
Ade: "Yeah, a donation."

Snack Mix
Ade and Mom were making a chocolatey, peanut-buttery, sugary, breakfast cerealy, treat one afternoon.
Mom: "I call this dog chow, because it looks a little like puppy food. Other people call it mud-puppies."
Ade: "I will call it dirty-doggies."
